Trekking - Roraima Tepuy

At 2800 meters, Mount Roraima is the highest tepuy (mountain with a flat summit) of “Gran Sabana”. Located inside of Canaima National Park, Mount Roraima is the most visited and well-known tepuy in Venezuela.

On its summit there are amazing rock formations molded by wind and water. Some of the most stunning places to visit over the tepuy are the Crystal Valley, composed of thousands quartz crystals, and the Triple Point, the union of the borders of Venezuela, Guyana and Brazil. Also, the highest point of the Roraima tepuy is over the rock formation named “The Maverick Car”.

This mountain is characterized by a wide variety of interesting flora and fauna, such as carnivorous plants that eat insects, and the famous endemic black frogs, whose color blends with the rocks. This magic tepuy is worth an almost obligatory visit for all nature lovers.
